Seattle requests high court uphold hotel workers law

    The city of Seattle will ask the state Supreme Court to review a case involving a voter-approved city law that was struck down by the state Court of Appeals. Initiative 124 would require hotels to provide emergency panic buttons to workers and keep a list of guests accused of assaulting workers and, under certain conditions, ban them. Read more here.
