Analyzing the effectiveness of ag infrastructure

Washington Ag Network reports that a Washington State University (WSU) economist has examined what role infrastructure plays within the agricultural sector following the release of a American Society of Structural Engineers rating of “D+” for U.S. transportation infrastructure. Economist Eric Jessup said that infrastructure has been “deteriorating for 20 years,” and it is important to realize that those transportation routes serve a vital role for the economy and provide access to market for the agricultural sector.
