U.S.-Korea trade agreement preserves market for cherries

Washington cherry growers said they were glad the recent trade agreement between the U.S. and South Korea will keep that market open for exporting cherries without tariffs. According to Northwest Cherry Growers, Washington, Oregon, Idaho Utah and Montana shipped an all-time high of 1.21 million 20 pound boxes to South Korea during this year’s harvest.
