Northwest Seaport Alliance to study the deepening of waterways

The News Tribune reports that the Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) have split the cost of a $3 million study to analyze the waterways at the Port of Tacoma to determine whether they should be deepened to accommodate larger ships.
