Washington no longer top housing market

The Seattle Times reports that Washington has finally lost its status as the hottest housing market in the nation. In June, Nevada overtook Washington for the fastest home-price increase in the country. Nevada’s housing market was hit much harder by the Great Recession than Washington, with home prices dropping by 60 percent compared to 30 percent in Washington. Read the full story here.
