Harley-Davidson hit by EU tariffs

Harley-Davidson is planning to shift part of its production outside of the U.S. due to an estimated $100 million increase in expenses due to European Union tariffs on steel which took effect Friday. The company stated it would be focusing on its international facilities to evade the levies and mitigate their effect. The business said it will take nine to 18 months to reach increased production.
