Trump places tariffs on E.U., Canada and Mexico

President Donald Trump has imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum imported from Canada, Mexico and the European Union, which began midnight on May 31. The tariffs are 25 percent and 10 percent on steel and aluminum products, respectively. The affected parties retaliated by levying billions of dollars on U.S. goods such as Harley Davidson motorcycles and Kentucky bourbon.
