Traffic, parking make up half of U.S. car ownership costs, study says

A new study by Kirkland-based INRIX found that traffic and parking costs made up half of the total cost of car ownership in the U.S. In 2017, the total cost of vehicle ownership for the average American was $10,288 – 55 percent more than the average U.K. driver and 14 percent more than the average German.
