Fuelers at Sea-Tac Airport authorize strike

95 percent of aircraft fuelers at the Seattle-Tacoma Airport have agreed to strike if their employer, Swissport, does not reach a new contract agreement soon. Those labor workers say they are not paid enough and have yet to reach a first-time contract since joining Teamsters Local 174 back in March. The airport could shut down if a contract is not reached, however a labor spokesperson said that would not likely occur over the Thanksgiving break.
