Amazon’s fulfillment center near Spokane taking shape

The Spokesman-Review reports that Amazon has told stakeholders that its $181 million fulfillment center in West Plains outside of Spokane has approximately 270 construction workers from the local community building the 640,000 square-foot facility. This location will primarily ship items smaller than a microwave and will have space for 1,500 employees to work. There is no projected completion date for the facility yet.
