Seattle’s construction boom brings cheaper rents

As more apartment construction concludes and the units become available this year, Seattleites can expect a cheaper rent trend. Seattle rents saw a small increase of 1.1 percent this quarter compared to last year’s. The record-setting number of projects and apartment openings is partially responsible for slowing rent rate increases.
