$700 million KeyArena rework approved

The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that the Seattle City Council’s Select Committee on Civic Arenas approved in a unanimous vote the $700 million KeyArena renovations. The decision is expected to put Todd Leiweke, CEO of Hockey Partners, in a better position to argue for a Seattle franchise when meeting with the National Hockey League’s board of governors in early October.
