EPA reconsiders Washington’s water quality standards

U.S. News reports that the Environmental Protection Agency is reconsidering its water quality standards for Washington state after enacting them in 2016. The new rule overrode much of the version created by the state Department of Ecology, though the agency says it opposed to EPA’s decision to review. Read the full story here.
