Growers suggest guest workers help pay living costs

The Yakima Herald reports that Washington growers are asking for more guest workers to help with the harvest, as well as having those workers pay a portion of their meals and utilities at possibly $7 a day to help offset costs. Other farmers say the H-2A guest worker program is too expensive to opt into because of the lack of profits coming from their crops. Read the full story here.
